With over 8 years of experience working in the private and public sector, Jorge Fernando Guzman serves as the Chief Executive Director and co-founder of Hispanicpros, LLC.

Outside of Hispanicpros LLC, Jorge serves as the microenterprise developer at Hacienda Community Development Corporation (Hacienda CDC), a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing, economic advancement, and educational opportunities to low-income Latino and non-Latino families in Portland, OR. In his position, Jorge helps entrepreneurs develop new and existing businesses through coaching and consulting. Previously, Jorge managed Hacienda CDC’s Mortgage Payment Assistance Program in Multnomah County for the State of Oregon. Prior to his work at Hacienda CDC, Guzman was the Operations and Compliance Manager for McGee Wealth Management, Inc. 

Portland’s Mayor Charlie Hales and city commissioners appointed Jorge as Board Commissioner for Home Forward (formally known as the Portland Housing Authority). Jorge is also a member of the advisory board for the Portland Development Commission (PDC). Jorge is committed to serving and making a positive change in the community through his work with Hispanicpros LLC, Hacienda CDC, Home Forward and PDC.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Portland State University. Jorge is multi-lingual and an avid traveler, having spent time trekking through Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
